The question that decides a dryer rental is always the same one: gas or electric. A 240-volt electric dryer needs a dedicated three- or four-prong outlet that looks obviously different from a normal wall socket. A gas dryer needs a shutoff valve at the wall and still needs a standard outlet for its controls. Whichever you have is what we bring, and the two are not interchangeable without work that goes well beyond a delivery.
The diagram below shows all three side by side. If you are not certain which you have, photograph the wall behind where the dryer sits or would sit. That one photo saves a wasted delivery window more often than anything else we ask for.
Venting is the other thing worth a look. A dryer needs a vent run to the outside, and a crushed, disconnected or heavily lint-clogged duct will make any dryer seem broken. We will tell you what we see when we install.
As with everything we rent, swaps are free for the length of your rental - a working dryer arrives, the failed one goes back with us.
Rentals are billed on autopay: we keep a card on file and charge the monthly rate automatically on the same date each month. Autopay is required.
